Our Peacemakers’ flag and patch symbolize our ultimate goal—peace with all people. Specific parts of the flag identified below convey this overall meaning. Bowing to the national flag affiliated with its country of origin is customary in martial arts training. In Peacemakers, however, we do not bow to a national flag but one that represents the larger world. We seek to serve “One world under God.”

God’s Spirit, our source and power for peace.

colors, cultures and creeds.

The people joined together symbolize unity amidst our

Peacemakers Pledge

As Peacemakers, we aim to seek peace, stop violence, and transform conflict.
  Toward this end, I pledge to:

• Have esteem for myself and respect for others,
• Set my heart to courage and my mind to wisdom,
• Be responsible for my emotions and actions,
• Act with honor, compassion, and self-control,
• Use my head more than my hands in conflict,
• Seek to do no harm to others or myself, and
• Resolve problems in positive ways for peace.
